On April 26, 1997, Angels Camp will paint the town red to celebrate the city's annual Living History Day. Miners, 49ers, Black Bart, Mark Twain and his Celebrated Jumping Frogs all will come to life as we rediscover our rich local heritage.
Events will include:
Museum open all day
The Annual Red Car Show
Historical reenactments and exhibits
Costume Contest
Music and dancing
Plenty of food and fun for everyone!

There are many ways you can help us celebrate.

And - most of all - plant red flowers.
The Neighborly Angels Merchants Extraordinaire will provide free seed packets to anyone interested in helping to make this year's event one to remember. If you plant them now, they will be in full bloom for the festivities. Plant some now, and we'll have thousands
of red flowers blooming throughout the city.
