Angels Camp celebrates its past!
Angels Camp

In case you aren't aware our museum alone is worth a full day. It is one of the finest early California museums in this entire region. It sits on 3 acres of city property. I visit often and always see new things. The volunteer staffers are very informative and helpful. In addition to the items you might expect, mineral displays, they have memorabilia about early days of the frog jump and Mark Twain. The museum has several huge sheds filled with carriages, wagons and other early transportation devices. If you haven't been there yet I suggest you make plans to see it soon. |
